Submit a request You may request review of content that may infringe copyright, use an image without appropriate consent, contain inaccurate personal information, affect privacy or dignity, concern a child without authorisation, or otherwise require lawful review.
Information needed Provide your name and contact details, the exact page or URL, the reason for the request, and relevant evidence of identity, ownership, authority, or consent. Do not send unnecessary sensitive information.
Review and outcome UCU may remove or restrict content while investigating, request more information, correct content, contact the contributor, or decline removal where there is a lawful basis to retain it. Urgent privacy or safety matters should be clearly marked urgent.
Appeals If you disagree with an outcome, submit an appeal with the reference number, the decision being appealed, new information or grounds for reconsideration, and the requested resolution.
Good faith Requests must be made in good faith. This process does not remove any legal rights or remedies available under Ugandan law.
