Overview
It is Equivalent to year 1 of MIT (Option to upgrade to MIT in one year).
Our Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) provides practical training and prepares students for successful entry-level careers as computer technicians. Computer technicians provide both onsite and remote technical and customer support services. They install, configure, manage, and repair computers, software and networks.
Our comprehensive diploma curriculum is specially designed to also prepare students for entry-level industry certification exams such as CompTIA+, Cisco Certified Technician (CCT), Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Cybersecurity, Cisco Customer Success Manager (DTCSM).
Entry Requirements
- Registration: All UCU Study Centres (programme offered 70% online) • Mode of delivery: Blended (70% online)
- UCE (or equivalent) AND UACE with at least one principal pass and one subsidiary pass, OR a Higher Education Certificate (HEC) in any subject
- Equivalent to Year 1 of MIT (option to upgrade to MIT in one year)
A) Direct Entry
- UCE (or equivalent), AND
- UACE with at least one principal pass and one subsidiary pass obtained at the same sitting in any subject (or equivalent), OR
- Higher Education Certificate (HEC) in any subject.
