Library Story
The Hamu Mukasa Main Library stands as the intellectual heart of Uganda Christian University, serving as a beacon of academic excellence and scholarly research. With state-of-the-art facilities and an expansive collection of print and digital resources, we empower students and faculty to explore, discover, and advance human knowledge. Our library is named after Hamu Mukasa, a legendary figure in Uganda's history, reflecting our commitment to preserving knowledge and fostering intellectual growth.
Since 1997, the library has grown from a modest resource centre into a modern academic hub with expanded collections, digital systems, research support, and learning spaces for students, faculty, and the wider university community.
